European Network Tramontana

The purpose of the Tramontana Network is to document, process, analyze, reproduce and disseminate, through innovative, participatory and dynamic means, the intangible cultural heritage of rural and mountain societies in Europe.

Canas 44

In this show, one character arrives and another departs. One wants to build a new life and the other wants to leave to see the world. They have in common the same place, Canas de Senhorim, which is never mentioned and, therefore, Canas is everywhere. They also have in common the number forty-four – their age. From this point onwards, an autofictional universe is constructed that speculates on people, places and streets that no longer exist or are in the process of disappearing, in a constant enumeration of this memorabilia, like a continuous movement between utopia and catastrophe, as if resurrecting the dead were a way of inscribing them in history.

Vouzela Art Fest

The Festival was part of the Lafões Terra de Cultura project, which brought together three municipalities, school groupings, and Theatre Room's teams. Together, and under the leadership of the artistic entity Binaural/Nodar, we created a cultural and educative programme promoting resilience in the territories of the Lafões Region in the face of depopulation.

School of Commons

Timelab has developed a School of Commons in Ghent in Belgium based on a deeper analysis of commons practices. It is a framework to start the transition to make organisations, projects or processes more commons-based.

It was at Timelab, with the Coordination of the installation of the edible Garden that I fully used for the first time principles of reciprocity and mutual admiration in the organization of the team.
