Vision
The migration processes provoque fast changes in the life of the communities. The senses of identity and belonging for communities inserted in their territories enter fast processes of constant reformulation in an individual and collective level.
This accelerated process of change can leave the communities particularly vulnerable to top down political and economical measures, new narratives, that, despite playing important roles for the same communities, can lose their close bond with their singular identity and have a limited capacity to incorporate complex individual and collective emotional and embodied processes.
Through a culture of mutual learning, care and responsibility, cultivated between community and artists, we want to hold space for that processes. We believe that a bottom up culture of reciprocity can empower us as a community.
Through artistic processes we want to understand and reflect about ourselves and our contexts, and enable the creation of our own new narratives, hold and gain agency in the construction of our own future.
We create our own narratives through mutual learning between artists and community
